Raised in Gloucestershire and residing in West Sussex, Ewan first held a microphone in 2016 after taking up an opportunity to volunteer as a local hospital radio host in the "lucrative" Thursday evening slot.
In 2017, under the guidance of Alan March Sport (AMS), Ewan began training as a volunteer Audio Descriptive (AD) commentator at Crawley Town Football Club, providing commentary specifically for visually impaired fans.
After just one full season, success in Sussex provided opportunities to be the official AD commentator at the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final, 2020 UEFA Europa League Final, and fixtures at the 2020 UEFA European Mens Championship Finals, including opening ceremony.
Further opportunities from AMS sent Ewan to various sporting events across the UK, most notably making his mark as a swimming commentator and venue announcer at regional and major championships, including English and British National Finals, plus the 2020 Olympic Trials.
In 2021, given the chance to move in front of the camera, Ewan began working with the British Automobile Racing Club, regularly hosting live streamed coverage from race tracks such as Silverstone and Brands Hatch. Driver interviews, grid walks, and anchor hosting duties, footage is edited to create the 60 minute weekly show Full Throttle, available on Sky, Virgin and Freeview.
2022 provided another new opportunity, this time as interviewer and world feed commentator for the World Para Snow Sports Championship in Lillehammer, Norway, broadcasting live to 20 global territories.
As well as continued hosting, commentating and announcing duties, In 2023 Ewan will co-commentate for the fourth consecutive year on BT Sports live coverage of the FA Disability Cup, with viewership in the millions.
The newest element of Ewan's career is voiceover. With an acoustically treated home studio, Ewan has already voiced work for private and corporate clients in 20 countries, including Just Eat, McDonalds and HEAD,
